Bookmarks
I hope in and out of my project several times a day and when I'm editing a long chapter I find it cumbersome to wake through the text, trying to locate where I got up to last. It would be so great if I could drop in a bookmark anywhere in the text to quickly come back to later.

It would be helpful to not have to scroll back to fin your place each time where you left off.

Hello, I am going to piggyback on your proposed idea. Because I would like to add to it. Sorry in advance for this.
So, I wanted to make another suggestion on top of this idea.
My idea is instead of a bookmark, the method of getting back to the end point of where someone left off is a pin. And not just one pin in a chapter but having up to 5-7+ pins for quick moving around in that specific chapter. Specially with the fact that sometimes I want to write in a disorder of chapter points within the chapter.
Right now, I have been using special characters, but would like a better method…

You're still describing bookmarks, but we're on the same page. I've also been using special characters but it's not very convenient.
