Home page arrangement options

Feature Request

On the home page it would be helpful if projects could be sorted and arranged in ways such as:

  • Alphabetical by Title
  • Creation date
  • most recent access date (current default)
  • Freestyle (drag and drop)
    Also a list view of projects would be useful

    List Mode on Home Page

    Please have a list mode on home page. The big folder icons are cute but I want to see my projects in a folder structure as a list.

    Feature request:

    • Scope — All app folders (e.g. ./app/folder/*) displayed from home and all subfolders (recursively)

    • Add alphabetical by title sorting option for projects, folders, and series

    • Add manual sorting option for projects, folders, and series

    • Provide a mechanism to disable automatic reordering by most recently accessed

    • Probably just make it a profile setting if freestyle/manual sort is not an option

    Why this matters:

    • I often jump into other projects/series to cross-reference content (particularly character and place names). My “hot” projects are then buried/moved below “cold” projects when I return.

    • This just screws with my muscle memory and is weirdly inconsistent with other applications - normally I need to force sort by access date and alphabetical sorting is normally the default.

    Other notes:

    • I am curious if the development team or a team member can comment with why the default arrangement is by access date? This feature request is a bit on the older side, so I thought about making a new one.
