Timeline Tracker for Narrative

Timeline where the write can see where events happened. For example. Characters had a party on Saturday, Sunday morning X happens, then Wednesday X , Saturday X then on Monday ……………….. this will keep a series of events in order and for the writer to refer to at a glance.

    Timeline Tracker for Narrative Consistency

I would like some kind of overall time keeper in the story to help keep narrative consistency. When dates are mentioned a small window on the side shows length of time set, events said to come.

Would be useful if the AI uses this for tracking character, events, lore changes for use within the story. Chapter 9 the character 7 loses an arm and from this point onwards that character only has one arm.

This is especially useful for showing character development over time, or making consistent discoveries. If your character wakes up in a deep crypt on a world with two suns, the two suns can’t be part of the character’s narrative until he/ she actually observes this fact. It makes a story where we world-build through character discovery very difficult.

Brilliant idea! In the meantime, it's possible to read back from previous events mainly with the Draft tool, using the Outline section and Chapter Continuity to link your previous chapters
