Store Guided Write Prompts
It would be nice if, instead of seeing the preceding text in the card with Guided Write’s output, you saw the text you gave it in the Guided Write box.
We don’t need the preceding text. We see that in the document. I have however, wanted to use the prompt again but can’t since it disappears after each generation.
In this instance, even persistent text wouldn’t be enough because I often want to go back after a few runs and grab recent instructions to try something else with them.

Essential. Right now. Please do not pass go. Please do not collect $200.
You absolutely must retain the original prompt we send into Sudowrite.
Writers need to see the exact prompt we gave the model, not a paraphrase, not a reconstruction. The actual input. It’s foundational. It’s transparency, reproducibility, and trust.
Every serious workflow depends on being able to understand what the model was fed so we can iterate meaningfully instead of guessing.
Right now we’re basically writing blindfolded while hoping the model interprets our intent the way we think it did. Keeping the exact prompt visible gives us creative control, debugging power, and the ability to refine our work with intention rather than luck.
This is not a wishlist feature. It’s infrastructure.
Please prioritize retaining the original prompt text exactly as entered.

I’ve resorted to placing y instructions into a “Word” document that I keep handy at all ties. I can add to it, take things out, or whatever. However for guided write, I need to be more selective with what I use since the space to provide “guidance” is a little limited.

I need this pretty bad, too.
All too often I copy and paste my guided write prompts to another document in the project (or just copy and paste them to the same doc just at the very bottom so it affects nothing) just so I can save it, but I would prefer if it were saved by default.
