Save the Cat integration
I use STC beats as my preferred framework and it works well for me. I tend to map out the whole novel this way in advance of the write. Is there a way to attach beats to scenes? I have in my mind a colour folder marker (remember the old filofax ones?)
TY - Sudowrite is brilliant.

I was thinking about this the other day, not STC specifically, but a way to implement various plotting theories usefully.
While plugins can (temporarily) teach a specific plot theory to the LLM and generate text based on them, the ability to “assign” beats or plot points to a specific chapter in a project would drastically improve output and efficiency; these links could almost work like a narrative tag (e.g. Midpoint|Chapter 11 or Dark Moment|Chapter 18, or the like)...so that whatever the task, the LLM would still meet the brief of the selected outline model.
Hell, just to simplify plug-in construction, I’ve already drafted stripped down explanations of about 8 plotting theories to slot into “Custom Outline” and plug-ins as needed, just because I’m impatient with the standard options and I know the material. Accessing that structural context properly throughout the process would be extremely helpful.
Even if Sudowrite only offered those assigned story links for the standard options available under Generate Outline (STC Romance, Hollywood, Story Circle, etc), the ability to connect critical moments to a specific chapter/scene would eliminate a lot of the verbal waffling and hallucinations that derail output.
As you say, Sudowrite is fantastic! I just want to help make it better however we can.
