Plugins Sorted by Publication Date

Feature Request

I found a few amazing plugins that help me a lot — and a whole lot of plugins that are useless to me. It took me a long time to review the million plugins available!

Now, I would like to go into the plugin directory every once in a while and ONLY look at the recently published plugins. Please.

Also maybe a “last updated” date on each plugin that shows on the plug in page - so that we can see the ones updated for new features added to Sudowrite.

Fellow plugin user here, and this is something we can already do, but it’s easy to miss. When you go to the plugin directory or any of the category pages, they’re sorted by Popular by default, but you can click on Newest to see the newest plugins first instead.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t remember your selection, so you’ll have to switch to Newest again every time you load the plugin directory.

We have a “Newest” filter available already, which will surface plugins in the order they were built (beginning with the most recent)—did you have something else in mind?
