Disconnect Chat from the active Document
As long as no text is highlighted, the Chat shouldn’t have access to the active document in order to reduce credit costs as well as to avoid distracting the AI with unnecessary or biased information while asking the Chat about document-unrelated stuff (the Story Bible or general questions).
ADDITIONALLY: When switching to a different active document while in the process of writing a question to Chat, please don’t reset Chat’s input field (so I don’t irreversibly
lose my text I was about to send).
My current workaround for Chat looking at the active document is to have a blank document I switch to whenever I want to ask more general questions, but it’s very frustrating to work that way.

I noticed that Chat now no longer refreshes when changing between Documents – which makes it that I no longer have to worry about losing my (unsent) chat prompt when I switch between different Documents while writing it.
My extra request about not irreversibly losing the current chat input when switching to a different active document has been resolved – making it a little bit easier to control which document chat has access to, but I would still like a more transparent and easier solution.
