Chapter memory, previous chapter summary, or the like.

A way for the AI to to look up previous chapters for information. Often times, when I start a new chapter, even with detailed scenes, it is only loosely connected to what happened in previous chapters.

Sometimes the AI comes up with great character voices/personalities in one chapter and then loses them the next. This makes it tedious to have to update every character/scene/lore entry to make each chapter have a consistent tone.

Some sort of previous chapter summary that the air could reference would be wonderful, if attainable.

This, so much this. For books with 30-40+ chapters and writers who like to reference things they wrote before (whether to tie in to the current chapter or for further setup), that kind of memory/reference is essential. Plus, it’s jarring/irritating as hell when the AI generates something you know is incorrect because you just wrote about it last chapter.

I also agree with this suggestion, as it makes the difference between Sudowrite and Novelcrafter. Thanks

Hello, I add to this suggestion. This is just essential because its impossible to write story if AI do not remeber what happened before. Its pain to repair texts and rewrite them to be at least similar to chapters before. Please repair this asap its unusuable for writing long books not just short stories like that.
