This one has been requested a few times before, and I believe it made their roadmap. It’s just a matter of when and how exactly that feature will work. Stay tuned!!

⬆️ Many of my early stories will be in a comic format, so illustrative brainstorming is essential. It would be great to have the following functionality for the first iteration of this feature set.

    Art Folder

A section on the character card that shows multiple thumbnails. As a user, when I click on a thumbnail, it should open a modal that I would call the Art Gallery.

    Art Gallery

A modal that opens when a user clicks a thumbnail in the Art Folder. It has the following sections:

    • A large section that displays the selected image at full resolution.

    • A smaller section with controls and inputs for the image metadata, e.g., a title input, description input, an undo button, a redo button, a trash button, and an exit button.

    • A ribbon section that shows thumbnails of all images in the Art Gallery, which can be selected to focus on a different image in the modal.

    Character Portrait

As a user, I want to set an image (or a cropped image) as the portrait for the character. When set, the character card will display a thumbnail of the portrait next to the card title, even while collapsed.

Bonus: ✨ Generate Character Art ✨

Integrates with image generation AI models to generate character art.

    • As a user, I want to click a button to generate new art with an optional prompt accompanying the character detail.

    • As a user, while viewing an image in the Art Gallery, I want to click a button that generates a new iteration of the image, using the existing image as a reference, the image description, and the character details, with an optional prompt for additional direction.

I’m excited to see how this plays out!
